We had dogs growing up too. We had two collies that we loved so much.

Well of course you are a pet person. I shouldn't think Graysome would have made it if you had not seen him. I cannot remember if you had him before I joined Blogit. I know he was a lad type cat.

It's interesting to read of cats before Mr. Graysome.
As for me, I do not have any pets. I'm not around enough to have one at my house.

Good morning
You have been in the company of some really sweet pets. Graysome is a real cutie pie. Our three daughters each have cats, and two of them have a dog. After I lost our Tuxedo cat, Sylvester, I was done. The pain of losing them is too hard. They are such sweet and innocent babies that are hard to let go of once they have touched your heart.

I would find my life very boring without a dog. Or three.

My Dad was a dog man. We could not have a cat in the house except for the basement so growing up I was not cuddly with a cat. Pitiful was my first experience of cat family. By then I was pretty old.

Good Afternoon
Kabu, we had a Border Collie too! Her name was Chia and she was black and white. She truly loved us but she did not like other dogs. We had one shepherd that she would tolerate but no other dog. She wasn't afraid of other dogs and we had an Akita that was so big but she didn't care. I still miss her. We had a shepherd that was my protector. If I laid down on the couch he wouldn't let anyone in the room because he thought he had to protect me. I love dogs.

I've read that border collies are the smartest breed, the most
easy to train, etc. I personally like mutts the best, mixed collie or shepherd animals like the ones that we adopted from the shelter or from friends' unexpected litters. Cats or dogs, and other pets too, have a wonderful impact on our sense of well-being.
