You are right I expect. My Dad always believed the paraffin trade would flourish.

Sadly it is happening with small shops the rent and rates are hardly recovered. I

expect most will turn into flats. Would you believe I have just heard that a Council

Estate here is being knocked down to make room for double the residents.

It is of course the lack of land available in this town.

Good afternoon

That's a shame. Car washes and gas stations seem to run together in the car care area. Sort of like a one-stop-shop for vehicles. They are big in our area. I am familiar with Royal Farms because I am from Delaware. In our area, Sheetz is the go-to for the combined car wash and gas services.

Good Morning

FSI, I like your idea of Solar vehicles.  I think that would really be the way to go.  It would be cost-effective and the air we breathe would be clean.  I think this would be good for the cities dealing with air pollution.  I'm not sure how much the vehicles would cost but hopefully, they would consider the cost to consumers along with the quality of air for all of us.  If we ever get Solar vehicles count me in.

How interesting.  It has made me think of all the changes that have come along sine the 1930's and especially the first cross-country road trip our family made when I was a teen in 1950 on Route 66.  That was a blast and it was fun to remember it.
