That sounds like a nice 70s kitchen you had there. I like seeing the way homes looked in the 1970s. When it comes to bedrooms, I love the kids' 1980s bedrooms.

I can remember having an indoor-outdoor carpet in one of my kitchens, but I believe it was a neutral brown color. A nice, functional kitchen is a priority in my mind, then the bathroom. I like the idea about the flowers to brighten the wooden fence. Will be looking forward to the pictures of your new abode.

I suppose a nice kitchen is like having, Oh! No, I must not say that. Now, what are
you thinking? I would like a nice kitchen, but I do have not the energy to suss it out.
We have got a nice stove though and a good fridge-freezer. The chairs and the table
are about a hundred years old, so it is best not to sit on the table. What I would
really like is a brand new house, but that is a pipe dream. Be lucky, hope Jim is
making out O.K.

Lucky you. I want to do an upgrade that will include an island in the middle of the kitchen. I love a window above the sink so that I can watch my woodland creatures.

Good afternoon
I agree. I prefer to give locally to my community. I have never been a fan of donating to a source where I have no clue as to where the money or goods are going.

It is so good to be reading you (and others) again. I really began thinking I would never get back on here again. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't. But I'm here.

I spend a lot of time watching rehab and remodeling shows on TV.
I have what I call a "one-butt" kitchen, very small but ok for a singleton. I can visualize the kitchen you described with the 70s colors and rug. I'd be willing to bet a nickel there were lots of happy family times there.

Good Afternoon
Kabu, I look forward to seeing the pictures when the house is done. It will be nice to have everything the way you like it. I hope you have a good day and you are staying warm. Our temperatures are warmer today but far from Spring temperatures. Give Mr. Graysome a hug for me. Soon it will be time for your Gnomes to be out and about.
