He just called me to say that he is going to wait a day. He would come due south out of Lansing, going through Indianapolis to I-65 to Tennessee to hit I-75.

Don't know if your brother's route would take him through Illinois on his
way to your place, but there's a winter storm warning in effect across MO-IL-Indiana, & points just south - sleet, icy rain, & lots of snow - it may be wise to wait a couple days.
