of course animals know the routine. Mr. Graysome starts annoying me to get his meal every morning and every night. Changing the clocks back and forth confuses him somewhat but he regulates himself very well. cats dogs birds, cows. Yes the Cows always know when it is milktime and faarm animals always know.
