It's amazing what all this technology can do, enabling us to have smart houses. I myself still prefer to adjust my thermostat at home or send someone over if I'm away. I'm old school.

Kabu, that is awesome news! Now I can picture you sitting by your tree looking at the beautiful lights. We have a huge Christmas tree right outside our dining room window. When it snows it is beautiful!

I find that when one goes through long periods of stress, where we fight to keep our emotional and physical sanity while dealing with it, it can bring on latent exhaustion, and we need to sleep and sleep and sleep to recuperate. Could this be what you are living at the moment?

do have a tree love. The blue spruce out front is very pretty every night and I bought a tiny tree to keep inside and it will grow.

Kabu, I'm so glad you are going to be toasty warm in your new home. I would love for you to put up a tree for Christmas. I get so much enjoyment from my tree. Just sitting down and enjoying the beautiful lights makes me happy. They have the pre-lit ones and it doesn't have to be big. You could just plug it in and enjoy it throughout the holidays. You could take a nap and wake up to see the twinkling lights on the tree. When I was growing up we had a reflector that would shine different color lights on our tree.
