Now you've got me wanting shrimp... Happily, I have some in the freezer, medium sized ones, peeled and raw.

I applaud you for resting when you want rest and when your body is telling you to relax!

Those were the days. It is great to have those memories. I guess it would be a chore today.I used to wait for a train at eleven pm. Pick up baby chicks and settle them under heaters and then up at 6am .

Eating fish is not something I associate with Christmas. It sounds like it'd be a great idea, though.

Good morning

Such an amazing memory. I love fresh seafood, especially crab and shrimp. Lobsters are alright, but they can be a bit pricey. As for battery charging, I'm right there with you my friend.

Good Morning

Kabu, thank you so much for sharing this memory.  I loved it.  What a nice way to spend some time with your daughter-in-law.  The closest I can get to this memory was when my uncle used to go to the fish market on Christmas eve to get fresh shrimp to eat on ice and oysters for my aunt to make stuffing.  We would all gather at their house and we would have a fabulous time.   I'm behind on my decorating but I hope I can get everything done soon.  At this point, I feel like it will be Christmas eve before I'm done.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

What a wonderful holiday memory. Makes me smile to think of it,

and doing silly stuff just for the fun of it.
