Thank you. I studied Khalil Gibran in college and found him inspirational.
I think that this version of 'Desiderata' came out back in 1972. It became a standard of living for me in my youth. It was based on the writings of Max Ehrmann, being composed about 1924. I was thinking about something late last night, and the words in the post came to me, so I tapped them out on my cell.

I may have mashed up the words of Khalil Gibran, "The Prophet" but I think that's how he put it. Your advice is so similar, and so right. Couldn't help comparison.
