- Go to Pat B's blog yesterday reminded me of a story
Such a change in a relatively short time. I love the memories of your father.
I could not wait to get my first tractor it was secondhand £150 . It lasted forever/
It was really hard graft before things began to be mechanised. Glad you are doing O.K.

Your father sounds like he was a great man. It's amazing to think of how technology has impacted our lives so greatly.

Good morning
This is such a nice story. Those old tractors are still a big deal in my area. They are placed on exhibit every year at the county fair. Replacing animals, those old farm implements changed everything for the farmers and eased up their workday just a bit.

As a kid, 5 or younger, I really loved riding on my Grandpa's lap on the tractor. I loved how the huge tires let it go anywhere, and to this day get a special thrill over driving off-road. I never realized until just now, why!

Good Morning
Kabu, I loved reading this story from your past. I know the boys were so proud and I'm sure smiling all the way home. I have a 1948 Leader Tractor that was totally restored but we haven't used it in years. We bought it used. There were only 2,500 of these tractors made. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it but it remains in our family. We've owned it for 27 years. It's in the garage.

Guys of that generation and some from our sons' time are all around
fixit guys - They can size up a problem, grab the right tool and pretty soon all's right with the world again.
