You are a gifted and true nurse and it's amazing how the universe works to put us where we need to be when we need to be there! My sister also thrives in situations like you described. How I admire you and wish I was more like that.

Kabu, I read your post and I feel so bad for your housemate but I'm so glad you are there with him. How did he get the ulcer on his foot? I hope his health starts to improve with you being there. He really needs you. I think bringing plants into a house makes it feel like a home.

Isn't he lucky you decided to share his abode? What might have
happened if he'd been there all on his own is something we don't want to think about. I hope the visiting nurse is learning well from the hard won experience gained by Kabu.

Good afternoon
Indoor plants have a wonderful calming effect. I bring all of my ferns in at the end of Autumn, and I have a Money Tree plant as well as an Aloe Vera sitting next to my desk. The greenery is pleasing to the eye. As for your gentleman roommate, I hope that his wound heals quickly. Fresh air and sunshine are good for wounds since they need to breathe a bit. Good luck to you. It sounds as though the young nurse is doing a great job as are you. He is in good hands. Have a great day!
