Thank you. The wife and I are extremely happy about this. It is far from a palace, but it intrigues us, and gives us something we can do together. When we are done, it will be OUR home. Not one she owned and I moved into or one that I owned and she moved into (and both of those narratives have happened!), but a house that we bought together, cleaned up, built up, and will occupy together. We enjoy being together, and working together. It may be tedious and difficult, but we are happy doing things together.
Me? I've been happy nearly all of my life. Lisa? Happiness has just found her, and watching her revel in it is amazing.

Yep. Life is a story. Someone has to record it, bend it to make it resonate in the mind of the reader, and add a new perspective to it. Much like the blind men feeling an elephant for the first time and then being asked to describe it, it depends on where you find yourself at the time you find it.
