Both of my parents had the Delta variant but due to them being previously vaccinated, they suffered very little and they are both back to work.

I intend to wear a mask from now on during the winter months even if they say the virus is over. Who likes getting the flu? not me and in Australia and Canada where i have researched, there has been no flu with distancing and wearing a mask.

I think these types of viruses will linger on for a long time. Hopefully, we shall eventually learn to live with them. I suppose in the past when folk did not travel very much it was harder for a virus to continue. Although there have been serious outbreaks in the past as you know especially in animals but it was easier to control although devastating for a farmer to see his cattle wiped out.
