I don't want to see anything getting, gutted, or plucked.  If it's not already prepared for cooking, it not gonna happen.

Well of course there were no broilers . I don't think I could fancy a goose these days. I once had one and it followed me around like a dog.

Times were hard FS . there were quite a few smallholders .They had a few acres and

a pig or two. Some of the villages smelled real piggy

Good afternoon

Preparing a goose is a lot of work. I am so glad that it is not a part of my diet. I will stick with less tedious foods.

It is where the food is held as it bit is slowly digested. One could tell if a hen was

ailing by feeling its crop if there was food available. Sometimes a hen would eat long grass or even straw ,It would then keep stretching its neck to try to move it.
