Thank you Corbin, Geese were easier to rear. Until they thought of rearing turkeys on slatted floors, of course, there were no drugs much at that time.

Good afternoon
I have heard of cooking a goose for the holidays but I have never eaten one. I have heard that they are a bit greasy. As for that pig she was carrying, I hope that it was a small one as pigs can weigh 1,000-2,000 pounds.
