I expect that if your pet was hungry you would not be offered such treats.
I have never seen the cat that I feed catch anything, in fact, it seems to be treating me as if it is a casual visitor. It walks indoors and walks out again. It does like a plate of Milk lactose-free and condescends to eat a packet of food. It was eating four packets a day. I think someone has catnabbed his attentions. I had to water for an hour this morning it is so dry. Hope you are feeling a bit better.

Good Evening
Kabu, it's been threatening rain here all day. We did get a little and I can hear thunder but I'm expecting a thunderstorm at some point. We usually get one mouse in the fall and have to get rid of it because we do not have a cat. I'm allergic to them. The village came for the dead squirrel in our driveway yesterday. They took it away before anyone knew it was there.
There was a baby bunny on our back patio this afternoon. We thought he was so cute but Roy said he's going to eat the plants. I know he will but he really was adorable.
I'm so glad your plants are thriving under your care. I knew they would. I read today that if you hang Irish Spring soap outside it will keep the black flies away. I'm going to try it. I'm going to put some by the front door and the back door. I'm will try almost anything at least once.

I think I could do without those little "gifts" - especially if they appear
anywhere near my pillow. Still, better to have them gone than suddenly appearing on a kitchen counter or running across your foot. It's good that Mr. G is still a skilled hunter.
