. We have been having flue injections for flue every autumn for years. Although some would never have them. I do hope it will all be over soon, but maybe we shall have to live with it. Now if it was having a finger chopped off it might encourage second thoughts. I am glad that you are feeling better. I phone my S.IL every day.

The fear of needles is so out of proportion to the momentary discomfort
that comes with a vaccination, or drawing blood. I finally got over my phobia about it when they gave me something called twilight sleep during labor. As the relief washed through my body in less than one minute it occurred to me if that injection did so much good that I could feel, the others must be doing the same even though I couldn't feel the effect. It doesn't freak me out any more. And if I haven't said it lately, nurses are awesome! They put the care in health care.

The ambulance rolled a person out when I received my first dose. Turned out it was exactly as you said. A nurse there told me. I would love for this whole awful Hell to go away.

Good Evening
We are fully vaccinated but this reminded me of something that happened to me long ago. My oldest son was having surgery. He was about 5 years old and when he came out of surgery they put him in recovery. They told us we could go back and sit with him. When I walked in the room and saw the lady in the bed next to him with tubes in her nose I thought they were going up to her brain. I had no idea it was oxygen. I was very young. I passed right out and down on the floor I went. Later the nurse asked me what happened and I told her and she said they were just giving the lady oxygen. I will never forget this. When I woke up I felt so sick.

I am fully vaccinated and my hubby will be as well in two weeks, despite the fact that he really hates needles.
