Thanks, Bill. That is/was my greatest concern. Soon it shall be healed enough to try to buy a shoe. It's been sandals since November.

Thanks, sassy. Yes, it seems to be healing so that's the first step, pardon the pun, for me. Try, try again, they say. These Sketchers are nice. I just slide into them, as they are like Birkenstocks.

Thank you, Ciel. This is clearing up now. But it did set me back for a few more days. This was actually internal. Not much markings or visible bruising, but swelling.

Oh, geeze! I hope it heals up quick--I have had some foot bruises, mostly from stubbed toes that made amazing bruises, but cleared up in a day or two. Never hurt as bad as they looked!

Sea Gypsy, I'm so sorry to hear this! I've been dealing with a bone spur that I've had for years. Every now and then it acts up. This is one of those times. I think it happened this time because I was walking funny because of my bursitis. It seems like there's always something going on with me. I hope you have a wonderful night and that your foot heals soon.
