Well, you will never get nearer to nature. Nice in the warm weather, but different through the long nights. I remember you thought there was a wolf once.
We rarely see a dragonfly, just one occasionally by the river.
There again I can't remember the last time I saw a mosquito.
I hope you can make the garden look pretty a good selling point.

I've never had a cougar in my area. I wonder if that will ever happen near me. I hope not.

I learned the merits of dragonflies late. I lost two beautiful ones the kind that never came around again, except the plain ones like my buddy Doug.

How I love this post! Yes, to see a rare dragonfly around here is a treat. And I truly believe that our early cousins like Neanderthals still walk among us. It's always been a source of delight to read about them, and my own DNA blueprint has told me why that is so!

I am a fan of dragonflies too. I cannot imagine that Graysome would have been happy about such a large beast chilling out in his space. Have a good night. I am enjoying the thunder boomers.

Kabu, I love your picture of the dragonflies. The cougar scares me. As far as I know, we don't have any cougars around Cleveland. That would totally unnerve me.

I would enjoy the dragonflies, but I'll say no thanks just the same
to visitations by cougars. Beautiful though they may be, they're dangerous. We've had bear sightings in the neighborhoods around St. Louis - which show up on our local news channels. Cuddly as they appear to be, I'll also take a pass on having bears visit my picnic table. Stay safe...
