That crow is a real beauty. I love these guys. I get plenty of them along with smaller blackbirds. A yard isn't complete without birds, bees, and butterflies.

Good afternoon
That hot, bubbly soup sounds like a slice of heaven. I am a fan of soups with a side of buttery biscuits.

I expect the crows accept you as part of the environment. We have wild pigeons building about three feet away from the house. Wonderful how nature adapts.
Take it easy,

I believe crows recognize faces, and I've read science articles about
studies they've done. It makes me smile to think they came to pay respects at Wiley's ceremony - it seems very appropriate. I used to enjoy those very long daylight times in summer when I lived in Seattle - which is maybe 50 or 60 miles from the Canadian border at British Columbia. On the flip side, the days were very short in winter.

Good Evening
Kabu, it sounds like you've had a really nice day. The soup you are making sounds delicious. I was thinking soon enough everyone is going to be able to fly. I'm wondering if you will make a trip home to see the kids?
