Bureacracy does take forever. When my maternal grandmother died, I say it was about a year before all affairs were in order. They make it difficult.

Well, the Walnut trees are coming into leaf and we rarely get a frost after that. Also, I think you are a bit earlier than we are weather-wise. My SIL has been waiting for a certificate since January. It is miserable not being able to close one aspect of mourning. Glad you have got your helpmate, it makes a lot of difference. Take care.
