This struck me funny about the second husband...Cigarette smoking is such a terrible thing. I'm glad people like Harold Walger and Eric Redman quit for good.

That is really sad. I am sorry for you and your family's loss. There have been so many needless deaths these past few years. At least his living hell is over for him.

Kabu, these are certainly sad times. Life can be so hard and you never know what makes people be who they are. I'm so sorry that your first husband was a monster. It is scary for me to read about it so I know it was scary for you to live with him. Thank goodness the past is in the rearview mirror and the future is now. I'm sending many blessings your way.

It seems this year keeps on giving us something to be sad about. I hope
this is the last of it for awhile. I hope you have a wonderful mother's day and that you hear from your kids, that you have something delicious on your plate and your kitty is aware that you deserve his kindest and most mannerly attention.
