I plant pansies every year. I love the blend of purple and yellow. They are so delicate and pretty.

Nice to have help, they do seem to be nice people. Just got to move through these days the pain will be manageable in time. Sadly it seems to hurt as much as we grow older. Take care.

Happy May Day, Kabu!
My mother used to grow pansies, and sometimes she'd prune back some of the buds so the few remaining would grow larger. She actually watered them with milk, and there were times those blossoms were the size of saucers. Your post reminded me of them.

Your flowers are beautiful! Stunning! What a good feeling it is to have "stuff" cleared out and hauled off! That's great. Sprink should come to your area soon. It's long overdue. Here, it's just clearing and the sun is breaking through, a little.

Kabu, I love pansies! They are so beautiful and they look like velvet up close. I'm so glad that Trish and her husband came to help you. That is wonderful on this May Day. I hope May warms up for you and you can venture outside to your garden. Today it's 65 and tomorrow it's supposed to be 82 but then it's going to drop down again.
