Love you Lady. Hang in there. Take care of yourself. This is a very depleting time in one's life. I ended up in the hospital after Mark's funeral. Trust in the Lord for strength and health and joy.

Kabu, I know you are exhausted but it was so nice to have Mr. Graysome waiting for you to come home. It's snowing here tonight and very cold too. I'm saying prayers for you and Wiley. Thank goodness his daughter could spend some time with him.
If I lived closer I would come over and make you a big pot of soup. My special homemade soup would be waiting for you when you got home. I think I would make you chicken noodles soup with chicken broth carrots, onions, celery, and lots of seasonings. I would add paprika, celery seed, season salt, lots of pepper, some parsley, and for good measure, I'd add in some garlic powder and a pinch of love. I would cut the chicken into bite size pieces and add a few bits of garlic. I'd make the wide noodles and put them aside until you got home. It would be delicious. I'm quite a ways from you though so I can't come. I'm sorry! Take care! I'm sending you lots of hugs!

I am very sorry, my friend. I wish you nothing but love and comfort. As nurses, we both have seen this happen over and over again... but that doesn't make it any easier when it is YOUR loved one. You are on my mind and in my heart.
