Of course, I remember them I always replied to Joe, but he gradually faded.

I remember them both. So sad but how fabulous that he decided to donate all the money to help those little ones battling sickness of one type or another.

Re: TAPS
Thank you, TAPS. I've always loved Joe's poetry also and his music. He is a humble guy. St. Jude's is one of my favorite charities also. I'll do a little post about Joe, though probably not many remember him. He is still with us, bless him.

I remember first learning about St. Jude's as a child. My parents were supportive of it. My mom's sister lost her 7 year-old son to a blood cancer and I wish there could have been treatment for him.

Thank you. St. Jude's is great. The other person is a cousin of mine.

Re: Kabu
Happy BD, sweet lady! I just bought yours yesterday so don't feel bad. There's time. You enjoy your day. Your son standing next to you is so cute - looks like my grandsons next to me!

I remember reading Ray's poems. I do not remember the other blogger that you mentioned. How wonderful this cause is. St. Jude's is an excellent choice. They do not charge the families one penny when they are treating a child with cancer. God bless them both.

I'll be sure to buy one. What a great cause for the proceeds to go to.

I know we grownups are supposed to be the strong example and
role models for children - but in my later years I've discovered that most of the most useful lessons on how to live as a fully evolved human I have learned from my children and others. They are beautiful - especially courageous little guys like the one in your post, and I agree that St. Jude's is the worthiest possible place to invest our donations.

I've been wanting to ask you about Joe. I loved reading his poetry and listening to the music he suggested. St. Judes is such a worthy place to support. One of my favorite charities.
