These water fairies are new to the legend of fairy folk - at least to me.
I have seen some tropical fish with fins that look like wings, and they do all right.

I cannot imagine swimming with wings, but the birds and other woodland creatures do it do it, so I am sure that the fairies are smart enough to figure it out too.

Good Afternoon
This is an exciting time for all the little fairies. I know when they get to the castle they will love it. They are thrilled with their wings and once they are used to them there will be no stopping them. Let the fun begin!

Oh how pretty this scene must have been. I do hope the fairies get to keep their wings and also continue to enjoy the water. They sound such precious little folk. My fairies up here learned how to grow Winter coverage so that they could stay in Canada all year round. I don't see them much in the Winter but they are here.
