Well, I am sure Mr Graysome will last longer than he would have done if you had not taken him under your wing. It is a job to know what animals are thinking, but I am sure he feels safe with you. You must have the knack of giving him his treatment. 
The nursing skill evidently.

Great idea about Wiley's writings...I imagine Mr. Graysome is not too keen on the winter weather right now.
