Thank you for the visit and for reading and commenting. Memories are great but also we, or I, realize that one's mindset determines how we view life.

Hearing about how the world keeps going as it has, amid all the illnesses, the drama and just craziness . . .it is nice that we can slow down even for a minute to remember the "Better" times. Memories are the best gift that we can give each other and rekindle that warmth in our hearts. I'm glad that you have such fond memories.

We will have to relearn some things, as long as there is hope.

I stay indoors a lot. I venture out for a date here and there. Rest of the time it's just work, library and necessary errands...oh yes and my power walks!

I am alone soul Sister and won't be going to a nursery until end of April early May. I am OK though. I feel my Mother close for she was born and bred on a farm and married a farmer so was alone much of the time. Once big sister went to boarding school I was alone but enjoyed my own company. I can do it now too. I have to and Thank My God that much of my life has been basically alone for it was getting me ready for these days.

It's great that you are making the most of the present situation. That is key during this time.

Sea Gypsy, how I wish I could have been with you at the nursery. I would have been so happy seeing all the plants. This is something that Roy and I love to do. I'm wondering if you will have an herb garden or have small planters in the house? We always buy a lot of herbs and plant them in large containers around our patio. We did have to put a fence up though to keep the deer out. I loved your post. It makes me feel one step closer to spring. I think my favorite herbs are rosemary that smells so good and basil. Sometimes I walk by my herbs and smell the leaves. The aroma is so nice.

Returning to normal once again will be such a blessing. I love the details of your shopping trip. I will be doing the same in about two months. You live in a much warmer climate, allowing for these early purchases. Have fun with your planting. That is one of my favorite hobbies.

Thank you for that visit to the garden shop, it's a wonderful
contrast to the frozen world I see just outside my door right now.
