I've only known one gnome in my adult life, and he left for the deep
woods many years ago. It seems there's a rain forest on the Olympic peninsula in Washington State where he hoped the climate would keep him limber as a much younger fellow. He didn't leave a farewell note, but had mentioned one night there were rumors of wispy wood nymphs in that area.

Well Madam as you know I am A traveling Gnome Doctor. I do get paid hopefully, let me see, I have you on my book for I Chocolate Penny. Please do not unwrap it I like to do that myself. My opinion is that Gnomes should not be disturbed until the birds start laying eggs in your part of the world. Silly buggers keep laying them here because the lights are on all night and it stimulates the pituitary gland. I do have spare legs and one or two arms if ever your need arises.. Toodle-oo.

Good Evening
Kabu, I love this post. It's absolutely awesome. I'm glad to know that all our gnomes will be fine through the pandemic. To tell you the truth I was a little worried about mine too but when I check on them they are all snuggly warm under their covers and I don't have the heart to wake them up. I also didn't want to risk them staying up. The house really has been peaceful while they've been sleeping. Spring will be here before we know it and they will be out and about causing havoc in the neighborhood.
I've noticed my fairies have been sleeping a lot more during this cold spell. They have so many blankets on their beds that I can barely see them when I go to check on them. I'm glad they are toasty warm though. They are so tiny that I don't want them to get a chill.
Stay safe and warm!
