I enjoyed your poem.
I am sorry to hear about your buckled roof. Hopefully, you will get the help that you need from your family. Roofs are an important part of the house and expensive to fix.

Thank you. We did have a nice Thanksgiving with immediate family.
Christmas will be much of the same thing. Anything to get 2021 to be a better year for all of us.

Many Canadian Thanksgivings were celebrated through Zoom, a way of keeping people safe. It's difficult I know, but we can all deal with difficult for a bit, can't we?

I just love your poem! I'm sorry about your roof. That's a huge expense and a worry. How nice you are giving the china away and I'm sure she/they will enjoy having it. I have so much from days when I entertained a lot and I really don't think my daughters want it. I will see one of these days. I'm not quite ready to part with it all yet but have culled a lot of it.

Having the ceiling buckle would put me into fixit mode - I'd be calling
Mr. Fixit - Had roof problems in my former home & no money to get it patched for a couple of months, which made it worse, so learning about your situation set off some warning bells... I hope your stepdaughter's family gets everything in order without too much trouble.

Kabu, we do have leftovers and everyone's been nibbling on them throughout the day. Roy just had a turkey sandwich and earlier I had some stuffing. My grandson made an awesome fruit salad and I had a bowl a little while ago. We all love leftovers.

Kabu, we did have a very nice Thanksgiving. Thank you so much for asking. I've been tired all day but I think it's because we spend days preparing for the holiday and then it comes and goes so fast that it's like a blink of the eye.
