Kabu, I hope you find a good company to plow your drive. We have a long drive too. I hope you have a good day! I always liked the house being far from the road but when it comes to plowing that can be a disadvantage.

Contractors can be such a hassle to deal with. Getting a signature on a bill is a wise move.

Your driveway must be as long as a city street.
That is a lot of money for plowing considering that it only takes them a few swipes in a truck. It is ridiculous what people charge for some services. As for the election, I just pray for a good president who is mindful of the many different needs of the people.

Hiring someone to plow my driveway - thinking of snow - seems so
absolutely like something months away, since it's about 72 degrees and sunny here, for at least another couple of days. Then I remember it's November, and winter could be here any minute. So in the morning I'm going out to the garage and bring the snow shovel up onto the front porch, because after snow actually falls will be too late. I know your gnomes are set for their winter snooze. I hope you find someone reliable and reasonably priced. Be well.
