Re: The commercials are getting to me. I don't think I can stand another

And you are not alone. I don't "do" FB, but it's probably a good thing. Like I said, it's not which side one is on, it's that it's all too in-your-face. Good TV would be nice. I need to look into another version of TV.

Re:

Now that's the extent of it - pretty bad. So much, and now so much has become too much. Sorry you are saddled with US politics.

Re: The whole political snowball affect is getting to me.

I wonder if any of those big execs realize that most people are fed up and do just that? They could donate a heck of a lot of money to - say, maybe people who need it really bad about now.

Re:

Same here, FSI. But still, a few sneak through and it's even irriatating to fast-forward them at this point.

I haven't decided what's worse the political ads or the Pandemic warnings.  I'll be glad when the elections are over.  As far as the Pandemic if I never ever hear another warning it would be fine with me.

I have the benefit of DVR'ing. All the political and COVID ads can drive a person bonkers for sure.

Your Dark Matter makes more sense than the presidential crap on any day.

The whole political snowball affect is getting to me.

The bashing, horrible commercials, and the threats concerning employment, health, guns, etc... are all too much for anyone to take in when you add the other elements that are going on in our world. I hide in my house and watch old movies when I can, just to reach out to those bygone days.

I know what you mean.

Not even our elections and lots of stuff on Facebook to bring it to mind!

The commercials are getting to me. I don't think I can stand another

two weeks of these dueling attack ads, let alone the news stories about personal appearances, rallies, etc., etc., etc. Even worse, some people are pulling these same things from news sites and posting them to Facebook, which is where I go to get away from this divisive crap. So many memes seem to be trying to discouraging the vote, or to set people against one another. Maybe it will be safe to turn on the TV again once the votes are counted and the election BS is in the rear view mirror.
