It feels very freeing to get rid of tghe dead weight of food if you will. It clears up a lot of space.

I hear Ontario is going back to lockdowns in some areas. Does that include you? Will you be able to continue to visit Wiley?

Happy Monday to you - and good on you for getting organized and

preparing to unload the stuff you don't need any longer. I need to get on that! In fact I made a mid-year's resolution to pitch one thing every week until I get rid of every thing I don't want to take with me when I move. It's not that I'm planning to move, but change is a part of life.

Good Morning!

Kabu, Good Morning!  I had to smile when I read your post because I've been busy all morning going through items in my pantry and moving things around. I'm pretty good about using my items before the expiration but every now and then it will happen. I'm not very good at organizing so I think it takes me longer than others to do this.  Since Roy made me a new shelf over the weekend it did help with organizing some of my can goods.  Recycle did not pick up on Friday so our can is still out by the street.  It is now full to the top but when I called City Hall they assured me they would be picking up today.  It's raining here and if you look outside it looks gloomy here too. We always take leftovers to the animals too.  I do hope you have a good day.

Those plastic bowls have completely filled one of my kitchen cabinets.

It becomes ridiculous after they have taken over such a large space. I now use them to take extra food when we visit our kids, and I inform them that they are the new owners of the Rubbermaid products. We also feed leftovers to the crows and other furry and feathered friends that visit our yard. Waste not, want not.

It is surprising how quickly the out of date stuff mounts up. We have a weekly collection of food waste I rarely use it but it is vital at times. I have ten tubs of cat food which the cat just sniffs so that will have to go. Nice to keep busy, it can be rather depressing along now with the lack of light,so take care.
