You have a business acumen that is contemporary it seems. While Dad's is also that way, you see with fresh eyes. A good thing! My thoughts were as you said right off the bat, but I know nothing about businesses or carwashes. lol.

It is a worry enough with the weather; like farmers you are so dependent on the weather and add this virus into the mix and I believe so many people are worried about their businessess

As far as I can tell this is a dilemma with no easy answer.  Sometimes I think the best answer is to cut your losses but that might not be the way to go.  Things may turn around and everything may become lucrative.  That would be the best possible senario.

According to the Farmer's Almanac, this will be a mild winter.

I am going off of our current area. We are near Pittsburgh, and I know that you are only about 4-6 hours away from me. Good luck to your family. You are now in your mid-thirties; maybe it is time to pursue your dreams of being a teacher. You would do really well.

Once I suggested to my Dad that we ran three or four vans selling parifin

. That would have been a loser. Now the one that might have paid was to build garages and let them. Of course the trouble with that it had to be local and the ground would now be more valuable for building houses..

Re: Corbin

When my Dad is no longer involved in the business, I do not see myself owning and operating them for any long-term length of time. Most likely, I would pursue teaching.
