Well I suppose youth is for exploring opportunities when suddenly all is buzzing and one either has the heart ache or is mildly intoxicated even by the thought of another.

Saturday nights were big for me too back in the 80s.
Now I am happy making that soup you spoke of, and freezing it and simply being happy that I am alive and well enough to eat it. This has been a year for new health issues and new medications. Growing old is rough, but we all must do it. Our weather is much cooler here too. I brought most of my plants and flowers in that can be saved, but sadly the rest will succumb to the dropping temps. Hope you feel better.

Saturday night does feel like a night where one must do something. It is nice, though, to have those restful Saturday nights.

Kabu, I would love to have a bowl of your soup! Soup seriously is my favorite food group! Haha I know having the flu for 8 weeks can take a lot out of you. I'm not sure if you can take vitamins but if you can it might perk you up. I personally think you are doing great because you have such a great outlook on life and your gnomes are delightful. I have so many characters to share with you and I think they will make you smile this winter.

Yup. Saturday night meant going out with friends - if you stayed home
you were either sick or a loner. Even after marriage and kids, it was the night to get a sitter for the kids and for mom and dad to have a date night... Don't mind staying in on Saturday nights these days - it gets crazy out there on the roads.

Kabu

More quiet now. Think of who you love, and when you'll share again
