yes dear Pat I did get the flu shot but I was in a very agitated space and trying to work out what would be for Wiley's best interest and i believe when he finally got a bed in a long term facility and a day before the pandemic closed down all the facilities; I believe my body just collapsed.

I absolutely adore that thatched walkway. Very enchanting.
My fairies, their homes, and all of their accessories will be boxed up mid-October. We still are experiencing plenty of heat here that will last another month or so. I too want this year to come to a close, but I am not looking forward to the snow. Hopefully, it will be a mild one. Fingers crossed.

About the coming winter, I have two words for you: flu shots.
I don't know if you got the shots last season, but I remember how sick you were - they have extra oomph for those of us old farts past the age of 65 - and worth having a sore arm for a day or so to avoid two weeks of absolute misery. I also have a strong suspicion the immune system jolt will help defend against the symptoms in case we come in contact with the dreaded Covid.... Love to your beautiful fairies...

I believe you are correct CCT. The fairy folk do mostly live in a different dimension but sometimes for some folks they enter our side of reality.

I do wish your fairies well. Of course you may not agree, but I think they live in a different dimension. That is why we very rarely manage to contact them.
Anyway as you say the colder days are about to return. It would be wonderful if cold nobbled the virus, but I think that is a vain hope. I hope you will find comfort in Blogit. At least you know Wiley is having the best care.

Fairies
Kabu, I love this! It will be such a nice winter because I can read about your fairies and all the mischief they create in their world. It will be hard staying home in the cold of winter but I have a feeling your imagination will keep you going long after the day is done. I too have a great imagination so I probably understand you better than most people. It is so much fun to write about my animals. They all have unique personalities and they are known far and wide. I've shared them here there and everywhere. Zoey the dragon is famous in her own right and Molly and Milly have their own cheering crowd. I simply cannot wait to hear more about your fairies. I do hope we all escape the flu this year. I hope you have a wonderful day!
