Just reading your news .Of course one must try and keep property in good shape, . It sounds like you have a decent offer. We don't have to think of it in the old way or nothing would ever get done. Land will always hold value it is your best investment.

What a relief that it won't be as expensive as you thought. It's good to have friends who help you also. Your house has always seemed magical to me, and I think it will always stay that way.

It is a sweet house situated on beautiful property. Very comfy downstairs too as long as we remember that little step we had been warned was there so as not to end up head first in the shower.
The love and laughter in that place is what makes it a special home.

That sounds like a good price.
Of course I have no clue as to your square footage, but most roofs run around $10K. It is good that you have honest people in your life looking out for you.
