Yes. On the top, it has an imprint that says 'MI 10 cent deposit.'
It was put into place about 1975 as a way to stop people from tossing them out the window and cluttering the roadsides. It didn't work. After a weekend like today, on Monday, I can walk along the Tahquamenon River and pick up fifty to sixty returnable bottle and cans in less than twenty minutes. People are pigs.

So the cans have info on them showing you paid the 10 cent tax.
