The cool weather is here with overcast skies and wind
** Sadly not enough rain to be a help. Just like most Politicians. All noisy wind and promise, but nothing that one actually needs.
** However, it is much cooler at the moment and that is a blessing.
** Mr Graysome is once again a legend Kitty Cat. He wouldn't come to bed last night. he was sitting down in front of the lounge where I normally sit; his chair right next to mine. He was watching intently and had no intention of moving. I had been reading in bed and suddenly realized that I was alone.
** Early this-morning he jumped up onto the bed and talking loudly came right up into my face. When I refused to acknowledge him he stomped over my body and came up close to me and me-owed again this time into my ear. I let him get me out of bed and into the living room and there amongst his toys was a dead mouse.
Tom, eat your heart out. LOL.

** He hadn't harmed it. I am reckoning when it finally tried to sneak out from wherever it was hiding the pretend sleeping Giant had pounced and the mouses heart stopped. I got rid of the "toy" and Graysome has enjoyed a day of pets and praises. Awesome control and patience, to sit all night hour after hour ...just waiting.

Lucky thing you posted this & reminded me I've got some cut melon
in the fridge - and I saw in "eat this not that" online that it's very good for seniors... potassium & vit. c. if memory serves... Lately it doesn't so much serve (as in Tennis) as just barely lob the ball over the net.

I wear mine every time I go into a public building. It's required still in Florida.

I still wear my mask any time I go outdoors.
Especially when entering businesses. Not only do I worry about my own health, I do not wish to contaminate someone else with my cooties.

Yum! I can eat a whole canteloupe without blinking an eye!! I do share with Pistache, but she prefers apples. In spite of spending the whole afternoon and a good part of the night up calming Mommy, the storm was welcome just because it chased away the heat...for the moment

It has been hot and humid here too.
For whatever reason today is cool and comfortable, but there is a warning of a sand storm headed our way, coming up from the south. Lucky us!

We've been getting nailed with storms every day. They aren't doing much with the heat and humidity, though.

Good for you that you got your errands done. And watermelon sounds so good. It’s overcast here and humid. Waiting for sunny bright weather. Take care and don’t overdo, dear.
