Re: Re:
Conkers Corbin did you not play it, all the school kids well most of them searched for Horse Chestnuts /. Not edible but could be a
worthy hundreder. Of course a conker carried its previous victories.

That was something else Pat amazing how some children have such ability.
What a thrill I remember a crystal wireless we had seems wild now.

Re: Sea Gypsy
You do seem to have been in the wars, I always thought fireworks were a waste of money.

Re: FS
Yes he had the education that I yearned for, but circumstances meant otherwise. I do have another brother two years younger.

I did not know that there was a huge difference between you and Arthur. I just assumed that since you two are brothers that you two were closer in age...Love does not work with the immediacy we would like.

I think we did away with that game about the time that we dumped the tea in Boston Harbor...
no wonder the Brits were pissed...
The financial loss was significant.
It's estimated that the protestors tossed more than 92,000 pounds of tea into Boston Harbor. That's enough to fill 18.5 million teabags. The present-day value of the destroyed tea has been estimated at around $1 million.

My brothers each had a genius for fixing things, designing things.
My older brother was interested in car engines when he was two years old - that's what mother told me. He could draw a straight line without a ruler. My little brother strung an antenna from tree to tree out there in the foothills and connected to Sputnik with his crystal receiver when he was about fourteen. They were 14 years apart in age and did not live in the same town, but they were alike in many ways all the same.

My brother and I also have a large age gap.
My mother had him when I was 18. Now that we are adults, we are really close. Of course I act more his age than mine, so that helps. He never played conkers, but he did lots of other mischievous stuff.

I'm glad my sons didn't play conkers (at least that I knew of).
