Well it was not like it is now by all accounts. I know you have had rough times,I suppose the trouble is people change. Once when one married the girl or boy next door the limitations were more or less set/ No one could afford to break up the house So sometimes marriages lived a lie or just tolerated the situation.Keep safe

Grandma was very wise. She knew her stuff. A few minutes can change one's life so much.

Your grandmother's words were on point.

There is never anything wrong with taking the high ground and holding off until you are ready. Real love happens when you least expect it, and it is worth waiting for, at least for me it was.

Those same rules were in effect when I was in high school and trying to

understand dating, etc. I was a late bloomer. Wasn't all that impressed with most boys even though some girls were totally twitterpated most of the time. And I wasn't exactly sure until I finally got up the nerve to ask mom for a real explanation of what it was that caused pregnancy, because I couldn't believe some of the crazy theories I heard about it. I love your grandmother's advice.
