Yes, two dams near Midland, home of Dow Chemical, have broken along the the Tittabawassee River. Here is a report from the "Freep," or the Detroit Free Press showing some of the damage. So far, no fatalities, but it is a dangerous situation.

Midland is about forty miles due east of Mt. Pleasant and just west of Saginaw Michigan. (Anyone remember that song?) 

It is also about forty miles northeast of the racetrack I have worked at for thirty years now.

I just heard tht two gams have failed in "Midland"?  Is that close to you

Eagle Dam and Sanford Dam....

I love the detail about the parks service not opening the refuge

until after the eggs are laid and hatched. Not all people who visit parks and areas where interactions are possible are considerate of wildlife. I hope you win your lawsuit.
