I also bought a few new plants today, mostly vegetables, but also some marigolds to guard them from bugs!

That is wonderful news. I am happy to hear that you are doing good.
I have been flower shopping for the past three days. I love this time of year. It is hard to not be outside where everything is alive and so vibrant.

Wonderful good deed for you to rescue all those plants that
might have gone wild otherwise. And they are so good for the bees and butterflies - pansies smiling out there, rain or shine.
