Well it is nice to know that you can get out in the fresh air. It all seems strange somehow, more so for you I expect. I hope you continue to feel better, the news does wear on one somehow. I noticed Archie walking down with a big bundle of rhubarb it nearly gave me the tummy ache.

Weeds have a tendency to just keep going. Pull one out and suddenly more appear that were not noticed before. It's quite a workout.

It was the perfect day for being outside.
We finally planted our tomatoes and peppers today after spending time with the grandkids down at Raccoon Run, playing in the stream and digging up flowers and the rich dirt that housed them. We had plenty of weeding to do too, but I managed to plant our traditional lavender and marigolds as I do each year. We accomplished quite a bit considering that this year has mostly been total crap.

It's May, It's May, the lovely month of May,
the month when all the citizens blithely go astray... (with apologies to Julie Andrews).
I got out for a little while also - playing with my son's dog Kaylee while he mowed the grass. She's old and slow and walks like she's got arthritis - a lot like this old grandma. She's always such a happy girl when Rusty is out in the yard with her.
