I can see how this happened. Think of all the song lyrics that get
misunderstood. I wonder how a cartoonist would draw a "parrot trooper."

Re: TAPS
Now that's funny! I remember from work. A person was going to a location in SoCal, "Palace Verdes." Of course, it was Palos Verdes.

Re: sassy - Lol...thanks for the giggle. You're welcome.
Those tests are interesting. But for ethnicity, remember they determine ethnicity by matching DNA of people who are living now to determine what your ethnicity may be. So if an entire huge group migrated from another area hundreds of years ago to somewhere else, the call today for you could be wrong. In other words, if their descendants are living in Portugal now, but came originally from Scandinavia, and Ancestry is using a control group of those Portuguese that you match, you could get an Ancestry ethnicity call of being Portuguese, when in fact, you would be Scandinavian.

I really notice things like that. See a lot of them in FB posts. I used to know a woman who talked a lot about a welkadoo person. (She meant well-to-do person)

Lol...thanks for the giggle.
Funny stuff is a true blessing right now. I joined Ancestry.com last year after my brother sent me the DNA kit for my birthday. I can't believe how many people that I am related to. I was also stunned to learn that my ethnic background was not even close to what I had been told for my entire life.
