Agree 100% We do this from a project I started back in 2002 to provide live coverage of the local stock car races for my son while he was serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Every year, we have improved the interface for both the viewer and the broadcaster. Everything is based on the 'Big V Studio' program.
Fortunately for this guy, I've done this so man times in the past that it is second nature to me.

Re:
LOL. Yes. When my son was in the Air Force and stationed at Abilene, Texas, he would always tell me about the weather there. 'It's hot and windy' or it was 'cool and windy,' or it was 'cold and windy.'
The UP is governed by the winds of three of the four largest fresh water lakes in the world. It is always windy here. Superior and Michigan are my biggest weather makers here. When the wind comes from the north, it crosses over nearly 400 miles of the open waters of Superior. When it comes out of the south or southwest, it comes across about 450 miles of the waters of Lake Michigan. Should it come out of the southeast, it's fresh off Lake Huron. Superior is always cold. Huron and Michigan get to 'warm up' a bit, but not by much.
Warm and damp air coming over the lakes causes a lot of wind and storms. It can be a pain in the asterisks, but it is fascinating how the weather of a peninsula works. When I lived in Florida, it was always the Atlantic currents, the winds coming in out of the tropics, or the Gulf. I was always an amateur meteorologist, and it was always fascinating to observe the weather patterns unique to a peninsula.

Some people don't appreciate what it takes to do the job for them -
the technicians and experts who make the lights shine and the mikes work, etc. So IMHO that $40 fee for the last-minute business was beyond fair and reasonable.

A temp of 28 is almost as cold as that $200 plot next to the ex.
