I imagine you are going through a kind of tension-withdrawal these days, besides not having your Wiley right there with you. I wonder if the two of you could set up a way to stay in contact via Skype, or something like that?

There's two of you in the deal (not counting Mr. G.) and both of you
need the comfort of seeing/touching one another. Seems to me his prime advocate needs to keep an eye on Wiley and feel comfortable about his care, whether or not he is aware.

You have good neighbors. Make sure you are taking care of you. I agree you need to see Wiley. Two weeks is a long time. Your right he won't remember but you will and it will warm your soul. I had Joe to visit Richard so thathe had a line to family. I could not only call but had eyes on him. Stay warm and safe.

I love reading your posts, dear lady. It’s good your door and driveway are cleared, and a plus that you are eating healthy, though it’s never so much fun. Mr. G is there for you and that’s a good plan to assert yourself to the staff where Wiley is and help you both to feel better about all of what’s happening. I haven’t been out for 8 days!
