The cheese wheel moon was bright here, too the other night.
Seemed like a promise that spring would soon be here. No wolves here though. Just the church bells at St. B's or fromthe Episcopal church at the other end of the block.

I remember when you saw the wolf. I don't enjoy hearing the coyotes chase their prey and catch it. But I did enjoy your post. Do have a relaxing time, dear.

You reside in such a fascinating part of the world. We have wild animals, but nothing quite like the one's that you encounter.

Have you ever read Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House" books? I'll bet you'd love them, if you haven't. In one of them--ON THE SHORES OF SILVER LAKE--the girls race the moon path across the ice one night, and have an encounter with a wolf. You reminded me of that.
