- Go to Snow day today
As someone who has had her share of "bad nights " and mother this or the other -} I have to join forces with Tap and the others to tell you "hang in there... I know its not easy, sometimes one feels like swimming against the current with no shore in sight. I tell you this though, sometyimes , on very dark nights when one is at the end of one's rope, a smile, a tender touch, a small sign of hope makes us tie a knot and hang on further... just look at that new clean snow falling, its beauty and purity...you and I know soon it will turn muddy and gray but the spectable of its being, of its covering all in white brings us peace regardless Let your friends', your family,s words be your falling snow, Let their love insolate you Kabu...G-d Bless you darling and give you strength and may He watch over Willy and you.

As Pat says below, "Hang in there." I seem to be backing away from the present world myself. So much of it is dismaying to me. I used to be a fighter for what I believed in. Anymore I just want to retreat and find that quiet place that is "near to the heart of God."

We had a coating, and then it went up to the high 40s. It melted.

So many tests of our humanity, our determination, our faith... It is emotionally exhausting to try to keep up just with the world around, even without the trials and demands at home. Sometimes loving with all we've got, just broadcasting it to the world from the heart on out, from the soul on out, that's the best thing we can do.
And, of course, we can block the trolls and vampires and mischief-makers.

I'm glad that things are getting better with the fires. They have been torturing for a while now.

You (and Wiley) are in my prayers and thoughts. You are a couragous lady to carry on as you do in spite of enduring a very horrific time right now. I have seen that illness. May there be peace and a touch of relief soon. Hugs.

Peace to you. I am sending a prayer for Godspeed intervention. Such devastation in a beautiful place. I have been following the fires. A few lives including so many of the animals have become lost in this tragedy. The dry climate fueled by the oil from the Eucalyptus trees seems to be a bit of the problem.
