I find the least troublesome ones are the higher-quality point-and-shoot. I look for a long zoom, a lot of pixels, and a good macro function. You can get the smaller, flatter ones with a lot of capability, too, much handier for carrying in a purse or pocket. The price range is generally under $300.

I cling to my little now aging camera...they are not easy t come by and too complicated for me now to learn. I have enough troubles with my phone. LOL.

I just purchased one on Amazon. With the popularity of cell phones, cameras are becoming obsolete. As a photographer, I need mine with me at all times.

It's been about a decade since I have operated a camera, replacing it with a phone. I do still see people with cameras, namely on the Trail I go on...Good luck finding one.

Haven't used a camera in some time - I liked the ones with film

that you take to the store to get developed. These days I copy & paste photos from FB and only print out one of a couple dozen. I can see the pics on my computer. I know it's a risk, technology being as iffy as it is...
