Pat

That's a great idea to have a Halloween Parade. How fun for you and your kids. Yes, the Rose Bowl Parade has been around for a long time!

Re: FSI

Yes, it was nice to see but I wouldn't want to go now.

Re: TAPS

As a kid our little town had a one-horse (not literally) parade and every Spring I was excited as I could be to see it, so I know how you felt watching your parade.

I've never been to the Rose Bowl Parade.   Used to always go to the American Royal Parade in Kansas City and it was lots of fun.   I'm sure it was probably nothing in comparison to yours but as a kid I thought it was wonderful.

I saw the show opening. I was impressed.

I used to love parades, too. Our little town has an annual Halloween

parade - takes less than an hour, the kids watching it dress in costume. We always hope for fair weather - it takes place after dark. The Rose Bowl parade has been on TV ever since I've had a TV.

That's a great tradition you had. I'm sure those Rose Bowl Parades were a majestic sight to see in person.
